Tools & Menus

Image-Pro uses the ribbon user interface in which tools are organized into groups of similar functionalities on ribbons. Some of these ribbons are always displayed, others are only displayed when performing actions such as working with a line profile or tracking (these are contextual ribbons). The scripting workbench, which opens in a separate window to the main product, also uses the ribbon user interface and has both default and contextual ribbons.

Tools are further grouped by common functionality on each ribbon into tool groups. To learn more about a tool group, hover the cursor at the bottom right of the tool group and click on the question mark that is displayed.
